How long are the videos?
A: Each
video is around 3 hours long (what we call an
episode). |

What is the members area like?
A: Each
episode of SickoGames has both video and
picture downloads. Videos are available
for download in high quality .wmv and .mpg
formats. Each episode also has high
quality pictures taken from each game, and 2-3
picture sets from each girl (about 1500 pictures
total). Additionally, screen captures
(taken from the video) are also available for
viewing. |

How often is the site updated?
A:
The site is updated once a week with
approximately 1 hour of new video, 2
photo shoots featuring two of
that weeks contestants, and photo shoots of
behind the scenes stuff. |

How did you get these girls to do such
crazy things!?
A:
Money, and lots of it! The winner
of the overall competition makes more
money then the others, so that plus a little
girl on girl competitive spirit drives them to
raise the bar a bit on just what they do
and how far they push themselves.

What equipment do you use for the shoot?
A:
We use two
Sony VX2000 digital
camcorders to film everything but the
interviews, which is shot with a
Canon Elura 10. Digital still
photographs are taken during the games
and for separate solo photo shoots of
each girl with a
Nikon D70 camera. |
Q:
How long does a shoot take?
A:
All day. We try to start things at
10 am or so. Things are
usually wrapped up around 8 or 9 pm. |
Q:
How many games and stunts are in each
episode?
A:
Through some trial and error in our
earlier episodes we've come up with 6
games and 6 Wheel Of Shame stunts in
each episode. |
Q:
How much does it costs to shoot a video?
A:
Each episode of SickoGames costs
around $5000 to produce. That
includes paying male and female talent,
agent fees, location fees, production
assistants, equipment, props, and
catering. |
Q:
How long does it take to edit/prepare
the videos?
A:
It can take a full week or more to
prepare one episode for the website.
That means taking nearly 8 hours of raw
footage, cutting it into a and
entertaining 2-3 hour snazy video,
compressing that video into various
formats and bitrates, and uploading it
the our server. Of course, it also
takes time to prepare all of the
pictures and create webpages, too! |
